BritishAirlinerCollection

The British Airliner Collection is widely recognised as the world’s premier collection of post-WWII British civil airliners and attracts thousands of visitors from the UK and overseas.

Step on to our aircraft and see what it was like to travel First Class to Africa; what was on the menu on the first jetliners and find out about the airlines: Dan-Air, BOAC, Air UK, BEA, all long since consigned to the history books. Visit Concorde 101 and find out how this pre-production test aircraft made a massive and valuable contribution to the development of supersonic passenger flight.

The Duxford Aviation Society Museum, accredited by Arts Council England, is located in the Hermes fuselage and gives both an overview of the Collection and the history of British Civil Aviation since the Second World War.
