Bright Dharma

Hi there 👋! Welcome to the Bright Dharma YouTube channel. My name is Marjolein Janssen. I am a Dharma teacher and enthusiastic meditation practitioner. I am originally from the Netherlands, and now live in the US. I love to offer the Buddha's teachings through live (online) sangha meetings as well as through this channel.  

Bright Dharma has its roots in Theravada Buddhism, also called Early Buddhism or the Insight Meditation Tradition. This type of Buddhism is mostly practiced in countries like Thailand, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. 

My goal is to offer Buddhist teachings in an accessible and inspiring way, so that it may be of benefit to many beings!
