BRIGATI: A Chronic-illogical Journey

Legendary singers and songwriters Eddie Brigati and his brother David recount their past and journey into the future. The story begins in Garfield, New Jersey when brother David begins his singing career in local groups like THE HI-FIVES and later, JOEY DEE AND THE STARLITERS ( The Peppermint Twist) Around this time, younger brother Eddie followed, eventually replacing  David in a 1964 line-up of The Starliters which also featured organist Felix Cavaliere and guitarist Gene Cornish. The trio soon set out to form their own unit, and along with drummer-extraordinaire  Dino Danelli, formed THE RASCALS in early 1965. Five years of massive success followed. By the time they separated in 1970, they had a racked up three #1 records and a string of classic hits. They have been inducted into both the ROCK n ROLL and SONGWRITERS Hall Of Fame. In 2012, Steve Van Zandt produced their reunion show ONCE UPON A DREAM which played Broadway and toured for 70 concerts nation-wide.
