Brief Shapes

Brief Shapes is a home for illustrated musicals, animated stories and dreamlike films about the strange, beautiful business of being alive.

Here, gods have very human problems, monsters have feelings, and Death occasionally needs a day off. Expect dark humour, unexpected tenderness, a little melancholy and songs that tell a story.

Explore the myth-inspired musicals of Brief Olympian Shapes, the cloud-born life of The Shape of Rain, and surreal tales of love, loss, memory and identity.

Created with generative AI, music, animation and human creative direction, to bring impossible worlds to life.

Strange worlds. Very human problems.
