Bridge Shanty Crew (official)

Ahoy! We’re The Bridge Shanty Crew, an all-male sea shanty group based in Stamford Bridge, East Yorkshire (the site of the other famous 1066 battle!). Stamford’s only buoy band, since 2019 we’ve been singing traditional sea shanties, ballads, and high-energy folk songs—both a cappella and with live instrumental accompaniment.
Our extensive repertoire includes classic shanties, original songs (inspired by the RNLI and Yorkshire coast), and everything in between. We perform across the East Riding, North Yorkshire, and beyond, bringing the spirit of the sea to festivals, pubs, clubs, and private events.
