Brass Knuckle Evangelists

Born out of a love of Elmore James and Donna Summer, Brass Knuckle Evangelists is made up of semi-rehabilitated rockers trying their best to stay out of trouble.

With zero aspirations (to this day), BKE start out in the cheapest, smelliest, crummiest practice space in all of Manhattan and have somehow been kicking around NYC since 2008 on an endless world tour of the Lower East Side. Covering songs by Savoy Brown and The Sonics, they slowly start writing originals. By 2010 they are laying down tracks at GB’s Juke Joint and bring in Militia Vox for backing vocals at Electric Blue Velvet. Three years later they release their first EP, “No Sin No Soul.”

As each show becomes more of a party, a few more originals are put together and recorded. By 2022 (remember that part about zero aspirations?) they release the follow up EP, “More Sin More Soul.”

Since the Summer of 2024 the band has been working on a number of new songs. The first of which, “It’s Alright” to be released November 1st.
