Hyderabad Deccan Brahma Samaj

The Brahmo Samaj was founded in 1828 by Raja Ram Mohun Roy with the objective to eradicate cruel and unfair social practices and bring about spiritual reform. The Deccan Brahmo Samaj in Hyderabad was formally established in 1914 thanks to the efforts of Shri Bhagya Reddy Varma. It has presently taken up the great responsibility of preparing the generation of tomorrow to remove the inequalities and evils in society, and to provide for a society based on values and security.
