Booty and the Beat

Booty & the Beat is a high-energy funk and soul ensemble built on deep grooves, killer hooks, and an unstoppable urge to make you move. At the heart of the band are two sisters whose chemistry is undeniable. One commanding the stage with rich, soulful vocals, the other weaving funky clarinet lines through every song while adding her own flavor to the sound. That clarinet isn't a gimmick; it's a statement, along with ripping guitar licks and a backline that’s always in the pocket. Equal parts New Orleans second line, 70s soul revue, and something entirely their own, it gives Booty & the Beat a sound you won't hear anywhere else. Rooted in the golden era of funk and disco, the band brings a modern edge to a timeless sound. Think Talking Heads meets Merry Clayton at a block party that never ends. Built on real relationships, tight arrangements, and an explosive live show, Booty & the Beat doesn't just play music; they throw a party.
