Black Dolls Matter

Black Dolls Matter® is a cultural storytelling platform rooted in representation, craft, and intention.

Here, dolls are more than toys — they are mirrors of identity, history, healing, and love. Through handmade artistry, thoughtful design, and reflective conversation, we explore what it means to see ourselves fully and create with care.

This channel shares stories, process, legacy, and the quiet power of intentional making.

Founded by Mark Ruffin, Black Dolls Matter® is a movement of belonging and melanated joy — reminding us that every child deserves to be seen, cherished, and reflected in the world around them.
