Biology in Black

**BIOLOGY IN BLACK**
*A Colored Perspective on White Science.*

For centuries, Black people have been examined, classified, measured, and defined through the scientific perspectives of others. Biology in Black challenges us to look beyond those established perspectives and reconsider the science through the eyes of those who were historically its subjects.

Hosted by a Black Medical Laboratory Scientist with two degrees in Biology, this channel investigates melanin, genetics, evolution, human physiology, ancestry, and the history of racial science.

For generations, predominantly European institutions shaped scientific narratives about humanity, often interpreting human differences through the lens of their own cultural assumptions and biases.

Here, we revisit the research, scrutinize the conclusions, explore controversial theories, and distinguish scientific evidence from historical interpretation.

Science has examined us for centuries. Now, we examine the science.
