Better Divorce Project

At the Better Divorce Project, we help separating families save exorbitant legal fees and soul-crushing stress by empowering them to understand what they are getting into so they can not only do their part to diffuse the situation but can be a key component to seeing a final resolution.

Val Hemminger, the founder of the Better Divorce Project, has been a divorce lawyer for more than 25 years. Over the past more than two decades, she seen devastating things happen to families and children BECAUSE of the legal process itself.

If a family was highly functional, then they wouldn’t be separating or getting divorced. At the Better Divorce Project you are guided through the process of getting a final agreement while avoiding unnecessary expense, drama, and turmoil.

Families do not belong in courtrooms.
