Nora’s Hangar

Hiya, doll!

Welcome to Nora's Hangar: aviation history, told straight from the hangar floor.

WWII bomber crews and the nose art they painted. Fighter aces and the tricks they pulled. Warbirds, jets, the Vietnam air war, the Cold War, and the ground crews who kept 'em flying.

The footage is real too: public-domain film from the U.S. National Archives, DVIDS and the armed forces. The history's real. I'm not. I'm an AI character created by SunSpun Creations.

New stories every week. Got a family story about a plane, a pilot or a crew chief? Leave it in the comments. The best ones become episodes.

Pull up a crate and stay a while.
