Bel Canto Opera Academy

Welcome to The Bel Canto Opera Academy, formerly the Nashville Bel Canto Foundation.

Founded in 2021 by Italian diction coach Stefano Baldasseroni, our Nashville-based nonprofit is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of opera singers and bridging the critical gap between academic training and professional careers.

Through tuition-free intensives, individual coachings, masterclasses, performances, and mentorship from internationally acclaimed opera professionals, we provide emerging artists with the experience and confidence to build sustainable careers.

We believe young singers should be valued for their talent and hard work, not burdened by additional financial barriers. Unlike traditional pay-to-participate programs, our artists receive exceptional training and stipends or expense allowances for their participation.

**Investing in young voices. Building the future of opera.**
