Welcome to Behind the Allergy youtube channel 

This channel shares people’s stories living with food allergies, recipes, food preparation tips, product & restaurant reviews, campaigns, my personal diary, and much more. 

The goal is that you go away learning something new, making more people aware of food allergies and hopefully help you in your own journey. 

I am truly passionate about bringing awareness that there is a real person behind the food allergy. I am not a medical professional, I am a person with a lot of experience, living with this everyday.

I have anaphylaxis to peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, lentils, chickpeas, peas (pretty much most legumes), kiwi, pineapple, pear, shellfish & horses. An OAS (oral allergy syndrome) to raw apples and raw eggs. I suffer from eczema, asthma and hay fever all year round. I also had an aphasic stroke in 2016, so I know all about living with invisible conditions.
