Bayfield Historical Society

Thanks for joining us here! We are in the process of rebuilding our channel(s). Yes! There's two!

The Bayfield Historical Society (BHS), in the picturesque village of Bayfield, Ontario, curates, chronicles and promotes the village's rich historical legacy for future generations.

In its Archives & Heritage Centre, BHS houses and preserves hundreds of archival records, books, photographs, textiles and other objects, bringing their stories to life and into context through educational programs, special exhibits, and events and by providing historical research in person and online.

The Society also provides summer internships to students in history, archival and museum studies.
