Batamgems

Batam travel vlog, through the eyes of a local couple.

We're an Indonesian husband and his Singaporean wife, living in Batam, Riau Islands. We ride around the island and show you the real Batam: the food we actually eat, the beaches and islands we escape to, and the small local businesses most visitors never find.

What you'll see:
• Food — seafood, local warung, halal spots and street food
• Places — beaches, islands, viewpoints and day trips
• Stories — the small local businesses (UMKM) behind them
• Tips — ferries from Singapore, getting around, budgets and what to skip

For Singaporeans, Malaysians and anyone planning a weekend in Batam, or thinking about living here.
