Barger Watch

Hello and welcome! I’m Rob, an inventor with 3 issued US Patents and a lifelong obsession with how things work.

My professional background is built on precision and scale—navigating manufacturing, operations, computer programming, and marketing for giants like Apple, Compaq, and Digital Equipment, as well as running my own global retail business selling to the world’s largest resellers. Lately, I’ve turned that "engineering" mindset toward a new journey: Mastering watchmaking.

BargerWatch (formerly DangerDIY) invites you to be a partner on that journey. Whether I’m fabricating a custom watch dial with a fiber laser, in my machine shop, or fixing the “unfixable," I approach every project with the eye toward invention and innovation.

I invite you to join me as I learn, build, and innovate my way to making some of the most amazing watch projects I can dream up. If you value precision, DIY grit, and the occasional technical deep dive, you’re in the right place.
