BABA HANNA

BABA HANNA is a music project that blends Ukrainian folk-song tradition with contemporary electronic music. We create original lyrics inspired by Ukrainian song poetry, working with the imagery, rhythm, and melodic language of folklore and reimagining them through a modern sound — from Drum & Bass and Bass House to other electronic genres.

For us, it is important not simply to use folk motifs, but to preserve their dramatic structure, emotional depth, and character while bringing them into a new musical context.
