Axiom High school Ministry

Axiom comes from the Greek word axioma, a verbal noun from the verb axioein, meaning “to deem worthy”, also “to require”, which in turn comes from axios, meaning “being in balance”, and having the same value as “worthy”, “proper.”

To Philosophers an Axiom was a claim which could be seen to be true without any need for proof.

Jesus said He was the truth (John 14:6). Jesus said “God’s word” is truth (John 17:17). Jesus also backed up His claims as being who He said He was. Jesus was raised from the dead! 1 Corinthians 15:17 “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” The eye witness accounts of the resurrection of Christ found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 as evidence for reasonable faith. And how the apostle Paul reasoned in the faith to those in Acts 17:16-34. We too as the next generation of believers, need a faith like this, and we need to be founded upon God’s truth!
