AXE & ASHES is a heavy metal project featuring Andrey Smirnov, a rock and metal guitarist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Germany. Andrey Smirnov is widely known for his work as a guitarist, and songwriter for German heavy metal legends U.D.O. and DIRKSCHNEIDER. He joined U.D.O. in early 2013 and recorded 8 studio albums and 4 live records with the band.
