The Aware Families Podcast takes a practical, science-based look at how to keep your family healthy in the modern world- using a Functional Medicine perspective. Hosted by a pediatric MD (Tom Flass) and a family NP (Brittany Coburn) trained in functional medicine who are navigating this world with their own families and want to share what they have learned along the way. We cover a range of topics that impact your family's health including nutrition, sleep, stress and mental health, exercise and physical activity, connection and community and nature & environment.  We are busy parents as well, and want to deliver real-world achievable goals to other parents to help improve the lives of their families.
