Average American Adventures

I’m Merlin, a lifelong tinkerer, Eagle Scout, and outdoor enthusiast with a love for bushcraft, primitive camping, and old-school skills.

In my garage workshop, I make handmade pieces from leather, metal, stone, wood, and whatever else gets the job done. I learned some of my skills from my father and grandfather, while plenty of others came from teaching myself, experimenting, and figuring out how to solve problems in unconventional ways.

I’m a regular at Georgia Bushcraft Festivals and love making things that are meant to be used outdoors, not just admired on a shelf.

If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m a bushcraft tinkerer: old-school, outdoorsy, and always looking for a better way to make something work.
