auto-moto (the band)

Emerging from the encounter between Simon Sockeel (La Houle) and Wilfried Thierry (Ego Twister, Modulisme), auto.moto resists the continuation of abstraction in favor of a more unstable, porous form. Voice and bass become primary matter, surrounded by fragments, samples and layers of effects, where pop structures are continuously bent and eroded by sound experimentation.

autotune bleeds into hyperpop, shoegaze saturation swells into post-rock eruptions, IDM syncopations surface and dissolve. Between raw tension and suspended atmospheres, auto.moto traces a fragile equilibrium—where melody persists on the edge of collapse, and live performance becomes a shifting field of intensity, drift and sonic turbulence.
