ataaxum Pomkwaan : For the People

We are ‘ataaxum Pomkwaan, For the People.  Our core team has been doing prevention work together for over 20 years with the missionto provide community resources centered around healing and improved mental health for the continued survival of California’s Native and Indigenous peoples; their languages, customs, and histories through culturally appropriate programming. 
Because we serve Native and Indigenous youth and families from 18+ reservations in the cities of San Diego and Riverside counties, our programming is diverse, intentional, and innovative.  These prevention programs include Rez Beats Open Mic Nights, weekly Native/Indigenous Clubs/Classes to our local school district K-12, monthly Culturally Responsive Trainings for the larger community, Social Justice Trainings for our youth and parents, annual college days and multiple 3 day cultural events.
