Asylum 213

Asylum 213 is a DIY experimental, avant-garde rock project founded in 2010 that encompasses a wide variety of music styles and genres from song to song. Which was once primarily a solo act, and all music was written, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered, distributed by Dylan himself. Now bringing on three members to formally create a band; Dexy, Marvin and Ben elevate a stage presence to truly create an Asylum brought to the forefront. Asylum 213 has been described as “an alt-rock wonderland with an operatic approach that calls for strong moments of metal, prog-rock, and electronica.” (The Auricular, “Richmond Music Roundup: November 4 – November 10”)
With the Morale boost of the coming members, the band makes their home and peace on stage and together to truly create therapy for the group and crowd alike. Tossing the grips from an average band, straying from the normal is a true conduct of Asylum. Establishing selves as a modern 'meme metal'.
