The Astro Society

The Astro Society (founded in 1889 as the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP)) is an international non-profit scientific and educational organization that works to increase understanding and appreciation of astronomy. Originally based in San Francisco, California, but now with a global presence, we design and deliver astronomy and space science education and outreach programs, community-building events, workshops, materials, toolkits, and publications in multiple mediums.
