Rien Dijkstra Astronomy

Hey there! I’m Rien, founder of Rien Dijkstra Astronomy.

I’ve been fascinated by the Universe since childhood, always wanting to understand how it—and everything within it—works. With a PhD in astronomy, a background in data science, and a passion for science education, I create astronomy content that turns curiosity into understanding, whatever your background or level of knowledge.

Many astronomy resources fall into two extremes: accessible popular science or highly technical academic material. I aim to bridge that gap by combining scientific depth with clear, accessible explanations.

On this channel, you’ll find videos about astronomy and astrophysics, exploring both what we know about the Universe and how we know it.

Subscribe and join me on the journey, and visit the website for more astronomy content and educational resources.
