About Arshad Heelaman

I am originally from Kunar province. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Al-Falah University in Nangarhar and completed my master’s at Dunya University in Kabul in 2021. Since December 4, 2024, I have been living in Germany.

For years, I have dedicated my life to defending women’s rights, helping orphans and oppressed families, and advocating for the Gujjar minority tribe. I believe boys and girls deserve equal opportunities, and empowering girls is key to building a just and safe society.

Since 2015, I’ve led the Gujjar Minority Youth Council in Afghanistan. Through charitable work, I support marginalized communities and continue striving for justice and equality. I dream of a day when Afghan women live free from discrimination and fear.
