Antifailure

Antifailure

Know what happens before you deploy.

Antifailure rehearses every change against a copy of production before it merges. A pull request gets its own environment: the same size, shape and load as production, with every real name replaced. The change runs there first, whether a person or an agent wrote it. A migration that would hold an exclusive lock on forty eight million rows, a query plan that only exists at production scale, a vendor call that only fails with real traffic: caught on the pull request, not on the customer. Then the copy deletes itself.

One file of about thirty lines adds the check to a repository. The command line is one install script. Everything a customer's production data touches stays inside their own boundary.
