Another Choice Youth and Family Outreach Inc.

Another Choice Youth and Family Outreach (ACYFO) is a  501c3 organization in East Harlem, NY that offers evidence-based interventions to support local youth and families, as well as citizens returning from incarceration. Our mission is to empower the poor by working with residents, local businesses, and community advocates to foster and implement community-based solutions to interrupt violence, promote public safety and reduce the nation’s reliance on punitive solutions to poverty. 

Through our programs we offer a bio, psycho, social, spiritual (holistic) approach to quality of life enhancement. This includes free professional development workshops, artistic literacy courses, and community service learning initiatives. We strive to offset food insecurity through our food pantry, which operates weekly and community members receive enough food to feed a family of four for three days. We also provide non medical birthing support to women young mothers.
