Ann The Herbalist

Welcome to Ann the Herbalist—Health from Your Kitchen.

I’m Ann, a fully qualified medical herbalist with around 30 years of practice. I share my love of herbs and practical ways to bring them into your kitchen and everyday life.

Here you’ll find herbal teas, homemade ointments, traditional kitchen remedies, nourishing recipes, fermented foods and drinks, and the stories behind familiar plants. I explore traditional wisdom alongside modern research, explaining preparations and precautions in clear, everyday language.

My aim is to help you feel more confident using herbs and ordinary kitchen ingredients, whether you’re making your first herbal tea or discovering a new way to enjoy an old favourite.
