Anna-Lysa Gayle has been a broadcast journalist in the D.C. region since 2016. Gayle, who was born in Jamaica, returned to the area after reporting in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Louisville, Kentucky. But she isn’t new to D.C. She also attended Howard University before beginning her reporting career.

She currently covers emerging tech stories as the host of The Tech Rundown Podcast, with a focus on the DMV and how innovation is shaping local communities.

As a journalist, her goal is to make tech news more accessible to people who aren’t always plugged in.
