Angelo The Poet is a Wollongong-based rapper and wordsmith with a story to tell.

Born and raised in West Africa, Angelo moved to Australia as a teen where he developed his love for Hip Hop thanks to the likes of Joey Bada$$, Earl Sweatshirt & Mick Jenkins. Such inspirations contributed to the sharp lyricism and jazz-infused production that are now the cornerstones to Angelo The Poet’s signature melancholic soundscape.

Now a few years deep in his creative journey, 2020 will mark the release of his debut EP "Laced Dreams" - with local heavyweights such as Kid Pharaoh and Sydney-based collective BoomChild taking charge of production duties.

New to the game but old to its ways, Angelo's fearless pen guided by heart & soul will inevitably make him a Hip Hop force to be reckoned with.
