I’ve been lucky enough to have been living in France for the past 12 years, I totally love the countryside’s stone villages and towns, and the varied landscape of the different départements.. Vienne for example has rolling hills and pasture, Haute Vienne has forest and lakes, and Charente beautiful farms, there is so much to discover…
As a foreigner you can find your base here, then head-off to uncover the secrets and variety of the other 95 départements, and of France’s beautiful cites. And if you can still find the time and energy, of course, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Germany are within easy reach.
