An Ambulance Love Story

An Ambulance Love Story is a creative musical outlet for Jen Allen and Thomas Blakesley.  

Jen Allen known for fronting the Des Moines Iowa bands Hath No Fury, Spartan Blue, and her own solo music. Thomas Blakesley known for fronting the bands Everyday Dying, Victim or Victory, and Street Thieves.  

AALS is all about mixing genres and exploring creativity.  Finding a voice together that is unique and inspiring. 

“Possibly to my own detriment, I’ve always strived to write/create music that is authentic, that draws inspiration from other music but sounds uniquely its own. Either through the music, writing or vocals.  When you hear it, it sounds familiar and it appeals to an audience but it is set apart.  Inspired, influenced but not a copy of any one thing. It’s a dream I can never stop chasing, it won’t allow me to stop until I find it.  I hope to continue to search for that creative sweet spot, in An Ambulance Love Story “ - Thomas Blakesley
