I'm Amos Whitaker, a retired geography teacher who spent nearly four decades studying and teaching the geography of the United States.

On this channel, I explore the America most people never notice — strange borders, forgotten regions, hidden landscapes, unusual towns, underground worlds, rivers, mountains, geographic mysteries, and remarkable facts hiding in plain sight.

From Kentucky's enormous cave systems to the remote corners of Montana and the strange geography of East Texas, every state has a story written into its landscape.
