Amann [un]framed

Germany is shaped by individuals who rarely fit into neat categories—people who divide opinion, challenge convention, provoke debate, and sometimes manipulate. Some are unfairly framed; others shape public discourse through narratives of their own.

These are the people Melanie Amann sits down with. She seeks to understand how they see themselves, what led them to their positions, and whether they are willing to question their own actions. Where are they open to self-reflection—and where do they remain uncompromising?

Each week, Melanie Amann invites one of these influential figures into the studio for a conversation defined by openness, tension, and genuine debate.
