Amabile Choir Bainbridge Island

The Amabile Choir seeks to inspire singers and audience members by performing choral music with love and joyful intention, enriching lives through musical excellence.

Founded in 2013 by Anne Pell and continuing today under the direction of Sylvia Cauter, our choir is a mixed-voice ensemble of 45-55 singers drawn from Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap Peninsula.  

The Choir performs a wide range of choral music, including contemporary choral literature, 19th and20th century composers, American spirituals and multi-cultural choral works.  

The group performs in the beautiful setting of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island. 
 
Many works in the repertoire are sung a cappella, with others accompanied by piano, organ, or small chamber
instrument accompaniment.
