ALOasis - Academia

On this channel, I explain Biology topics and research skills in a clear and engaging way, using simple schematics and diagrams. My aim is to help you understand the science behind each topic while also teaching you the exact mark-scheme keywords needed to earn marks in the exam. I also share guidance on writing a strong personal statement for university applications.

In addition, the channel covers various university-level biology topics and provides step-by-step advice on writing scientific papers and carrying out effective literature searches.

I currently teach Biology on the International Foundation Programme (IFP) at the University of Manchester. I hold a PhD and an MRes in Biology, and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Liverpool and the University of Manchester. I also have experience marking national A-level Biology exam papers.

You can visit my online store at: payhip.com/ALOasisAcademia, where I provide revision booklets and keyword banks for each Biology topic.
