A little light, like a rushlight

I am talking about books, about once a fortnight. Sometimes films. Occasionally music. Often altogether. And about what they mean, as well as what they are like, with regards to whether or not they are good, wise, funny, and so on. And about history, sometimes. Usually, about philosophy, but this goes without saying, for surely any talk which unifies discussions of art has to be, definitionally, philosophy. Or at the very least cultural criticism. Which is almost always, when you get down to it, philosophy, even if it does not know it itself.
