Agroforestry in European temperate & cold climate

Films exploring agroforestry, forest gardens, silvopasture, and regenerative agriculture in cold and temperate climates — with a focus on Northern Europe.

This channel began with my interest in small-scale systems — learning from Swedish pioneers working with diverse perennial crops and integrated animal husbandry to build soil health, biodiversity, climate resilience and food security.

Increasingly, my focus is shifting toward landscape-scale processes — including grazing, tree fodder, and the role of herbivores in shaping resilient ecosystems. I’m particularly interested in how these relationships can inform a more integrated approach to land use.

Going forward, my work explores how agroforestry can connect farming, forestry, and conservation — contributing to a post-fossil fuel food culture.
