After Stroke Support

Life after a stroke isn't always what you expect.

Sometimes, it's spending 40 minutes trying to open a tin of dog food, learning to get dressed with one hand, or discovering that brushing your teeth can become an adventure!

I'm Meagan, a stroke survivor sharing the real side of life after stroke — the struggles, frustrations, little victories and occasional laughs.

After Stroke Support is for stroke survivors, families, friends and caregivers looking for honest stories, practical tips and understanding. No perfect recovery stories or clinical jargon — just real experiences and life one small step at a time.

📚 My book, *Life After Stroke*, offers support and guidance for survivors, families and caregivers. You'll also find helpful resources on my website.
