adventures in ISTEM

I am a middle school science teacher with over 25 years of experience.  The Adventures in ISTEM channel is a place to showcase best practices around using technology in the middle school science classroom to help students take ownership of their learning. The main focus is on using the flipped classroom model by hosting science videos designed for middle school students.  It also covers the 5E model of instruction, incorporating digital notebooks and digital science reading comprehensions.  And is a place for teachers to learn how to teach your students the skills they will need to be successful in school and in life. 

Videos are posted on a weekly bases.
