We tell the stories of the nomads of the Great Steppe, ancient states, forgotten peoples, wars, migrations, rulers, and civilizations whose legacy still shapes the modern world.
We’re not interested in dry chronology, but in living history: why peoples left their ancestral lands, how empires rose, why states disappeared, and how the past continues to speak to us today.
The channel is run by us — Alexander and Oksana from Germany. In our videos, the histories of the East and Europe intertwine, blending the perspective of someone from the Kazakh steppe with the experience of living in modern Europe.
Sometimes we also talk about travel, culture, life in Europe, and the traditions of different peoples — but history always remains at the heart of the channel.
