Adena M’lynn

Adena Harmon, also known as Adena M’lynn, is a writer, and survivor whose life is rooted in resilience and raw faith. Born in Dallas in 1960, she has survived childhood sexual abuse, psychiatric institutions, prison, homelessness, and injustice. Yet through it all, she has used her voice—bold, unfiltered, and grounded in grace—to speak for the silenced. Her work spans poetry, political commentary, theology, and storytelling that centers the wounded, the weary, and the wild. She writes from lived experience, with deep compassion and conviction, often blending gritty honesty with spiritual depth. Now living in rural Texas, she continues to advocate for justice, healing, and community. Whether she’s lifting up women, defending LGBTQ+ rights, or holding systems accountable, Adena’s words echo with hard-won truth. She isn’t afraid of brokenness—she honors it, knowing it’s where the light gets in. Her story is still unfolding, but her voice is already unforgettable.
