Dotun Tejuoso Muscular Dystrophy Foundation

The Dotun Tejuoso Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (DTMDF) is dedicated to raising awareness, improving diagnosis, promoting access to care, and empowering people living with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders across Nigeria and Africa.

Founded by Adedotun (Dotun) Tejuoso, who lives with Becker muscular dystrophy, our work is driven by lived experience and the vision of a future where no one is left behind.

Through awareness campaigns, patient and caregiver stories, the Muscular Dystrophy Registry Nigeria (MDRN), the Monthly Muscular Dystrophy Clinic at UCH Ibadan, and advocacy partnerships, we are working to improve patient visibility, care, research, and rare disease data equity in Africa.
