Adapted Physical Education channel

This Channel was created to help parents, educators and students with disabilities further advance and practice locomotor and gross motor skills. The "Adapted P.E. Channel" goal is through video lessons, video's on progression of skills, and possible modification to general physical education classes, to better meet the needs of individual students with disabilities.   
The practice of Adapted Physical Education is centered on the belief that each individual student has the ability and a desire to move, to be active, and to participate meaningful physical activities with peers. Through physical education, adapted physical education addresses the student's gap between their current ability levels to their age appropriate peers. Adapted physical education guides them toward becoming well-informed, health literate individuals, as well as competent, confident and joyful movers.
