The Association of Textile Creators 

The Association of Textile Creators of Madrid [ACTM], is a non-profit organisation founded in 1988 whose aims include the preservation of artisan know-how and the promotion of textile culture in its triple aspect of heritage, training and creation.

It currently brings together around 50 creators who apply a wide range of techniques to textile production, from a perspective of innovation and creativity based on tradition. A significant number of them also teach in public centres or in their private studios.

It is part of Oficio y Arte, belongs to the Organización de Artesanos de España and is a member of the European Textile Network [ETN].
