Academic Dissent

Academic Dissent is political and social commentary for people who want the argument and the actual evidence behind it. I hold master's degrees in political science and criminology plus an MBA, and I use all three to break down the history, policy, and psychology behind the headlines. Expect deconstruction, Christian nationalism, criminology, voting rights, and political theory, all delivered in a sarcastic academic voice. Think of it as a snippet of sitting in on the lecture, except I actually cite my sources.
Long-form breakdowns live here. Short-form cuts are on TikTok and Instagram, all under the same name.
Cite your sources.
