Abstract of Thought

Hello, darling! 

When 2024 started, my biggest problem was trying to unshackle myself from a marriage that was fifteen years past its expiry point while stuck in a matrimonial home I couldn’t list until the lawyers stopped sleeping on an easy divorce case. When it ended, I was shy two breasts and half way through chemotherapy, trying to sell a house in the middle of a housing market that nobody wanted anything to do with. There were other things, but those are not for public consumption. But, cancer, divorce, and moving weren’t even the most difficult things on my plate.

It took me too long to call myself an artist. When something you do is like a tick, or some sort of weird allergic reaction to stress, boredom, despair, helplessness, anger, or whatever, you don’t tend to see value in it. But it is valuable. 

Art is healing. Took me even longer to realize I have a unique style and creative process. But, I’m not about gatekeeping. Come, experience the journey with me.
